Common-Sense Leadership for California
Families in CA-10 pay 30–40% more for housing, gas, and everyday essentials than the national average — and Washington keeps making life more expensive.Make California affordable. Protect freedom. Restore common sense.
California shouldn’t be the hardest place in America to afford a life
California families are doing everything right — and still falling behind.- Cut federal red tape that drives up housing, energy, and food costs
- Stop Washington policies that raise prices without improving results
- Reduce insurance and rebuilding costs by fixing federal failures upstream
- Make it easier to live, work, and raise a family in California
Families shouldn’t lose coverage or pay double because Washington refuses to fix upstream problems
Insurance premiums — from home to health — are crushing California families.- Reduce wildfire risk by fixing federal land and forest management
- Lower rebuilding and medical costs by cutting federal red tape and mandates
- Reform federal insurance programs to reward prevention and competition
Small, common-sense changes can make everyday life better
Government should make life simpler — not more frustrating.- End Daylight Saving Time and stop changing the clocks twice a year
- Reduce unnecessary disruptions to sleep, work, and family routines
- Improve health and productivity by aligning schedules with natural daylight
Working families deserve a real path to housing they can afford
Owning or renting a home in California shouldn’t feel impossible.- Fight inflation and reckless spending that keep mortgage rates high
- Cut federal red tape that raises construction and compliance costs
- Oppose one-size-fits-all mandates that delay housing projects
- Support responsible building that lets communities grow faster
Education should prepare kids for the future
Schools should prepare kids for real life — not just more bureaucracy.- Focus on literacy, math and critical thinking so every student can read, write, and do the basics well
- Teach real-world skills that lead to good jobs, not more student debt
- Teach skills that help students compete in a world shaped by automation and AI
- Measure results, not spending, and reward schools that succeed
Trust in elections is foundational. Without it, nothing else works
Voting should be easy to participate in and hard to manipulate.- Make Election Day a national holiday so working Americans can vote
- Allow same-day voting with ID to balance access and security
- Require voter ID for federal elections
- Use paper ballots as the permanent audit trail
- Ensure transparent, auditable results voters can trust
The Founding Fathers never intended Congress to be a career
Congress was never meant to be a lifetime career.- Implement 8-year term limits for members of Congress
- Restore fresh ideas and real accountability in Washington
- End decades-long political careers that disconnect leaders from the people they serve
Government shouldn’t tax or track people for living their lives
Californians should not be taxed or tracked just for living their lives.- Introduce federal legislation prohibiting mileage-based driving taxes that rely on tracking or surveillance
- Block the use of federal funds for state programs that tax people based on miles driven
- Protect privacy and fairness by preventing GPS tracking or mandatory location reporting
- Defend the constitutional right to travel without being monitored or penalized
My focus is on California families and the real challenges we face here — affordability, secure elections, and an economy that works for people who live and work in CA-10. While my opponent often engages in national and international issues, I’m running to keep the focus where it belongs: on Californians.
